Stone and Base Finishes:
Painted finishes have tones that emulate metal patinas, exotic stones and other unique finishes. These finishes are produced with a uniform appearance throughout the stone with accent colors being more pronounced over textured surfaces. Their sealed surface prolongs their finish and leads to a graceful aging.

Relic Stain finishes:
Relic finishes are achieved through a process of staining the stone. There is a reaction between the relic stain and the concrete’s elements (cement, sand, gravel, and moisture) which give you emerging shades of colors that are unique to that piece. Within its color range each stain will vary from lighter to darker, with some sporadic mottling. Weather and time will soften the tones of the relic finishes. Unlike the Painted finishes, the color of the finish may vary from color tile samples and digital images. The purchaser should understand the nature of this process and be comfortable with the characteristics of the Relic Stains.
All of Campania patinas are hand applied in a multi-step process, designed to replicate the look of naturally aged materials, the patinas will not prevent the natural aging process that occurs in an outdoor environment. Like stains for wood, each piece will accept Campania patinas in varying degrees of intensity, creating natural variations that add character and distinction to every piece. Even when applied with the same process, no two pieces will look exactly alike due to the composition of the cast stone, and the varying age of the pieces.
