Description
A proven hardy selection graced with 8 to 12 in. long clusters of lilac blue flowers. Superb for covering a trellis, pillar, fence, rail or arbor. Tolerates wet soils better, is more restrained and tends to bloom an earlier age than Asian wisterias. Can be trained as a small flowering tree. If used as a vine, must provide heavy-duty support structure.
