‘Cream Ball’ is a slow growing, dense global conifer with soft creamy yellow, almost white, foliage. It has been recently introduced from Canada, and is quickly gaining recognition. It is an excellent plant for sunny, small landscapes or rock gardens, and as an added bonus, requires little or no shearing to remain compact. ‘Cream Ball’ grows relatively slow; only one to two inches per year, eventually reaching a mature height of only two feet. For optimum performance, it should be planted in well drained, acidic soil that is in full sun to partial shade.
