Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our clients’ lawns through fertilization and pest control. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outside, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed to promote healthy growth and control weeds, pests, and diseases.
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, spreaders, and sprayers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns with lawn conditions, including bare spots, irrigation problems, or signs of pests or disease.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their lawn care needs and preferences, and provide recommendations for services or treatments as appropriate.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including services rendered, products applied, and any client feedback or special instructions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing job duties, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and handling chemicals responsibly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of lawn care services, especially during peak seasons or when handling large projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
