Are you a skilled small engine mechanic looking for a unique opportunity to advance your career? We are seeking a dedicated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team and train for a Lawn Care Manager position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about small engine maintenance and aspires to take on a leadership role in the lawn care industry.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair small engine equipment used in lawn care services, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and blade sharpening.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs for all equipment.
- Train and supervise a team of lawn care technicians in the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Work closely with our Lawn Care Manager to learn the intricacies of lawn care and client management.
- Assist in planning and executing lawn care projects, including mowing, fertilization, and weed control.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for working with small engines and a desire to learn about lawn care management.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
